Even oldies stations will take the same old tired song they played to death when it was new and play it til youre sick of it all over again. Does the answer have anything to do with the same reason HBO shows us Batman or the same freakin South Park episode 600 times a week?

What comes to my mind though is that song…. radio kills the radio star or something like that lol!!
The get paid promotions from the company promoting them. I”m sick of it too. Give away items, movie tickets, cd’s, dvd’s. etc.
Well radio stations are only allowed to play the singles that are released by artists…they can’t play other tracks that haven’t been released. When a station gets a track, they just get the individual song, not the whole album. Unfortunately that’s just the way it goes…
Right? That’s why I don’t listen to the radio anymore….just load up the ol’ ipod…
