The Final Friends Of Old Time Radio Convention Approaches …

This year year I will be attending my 32nd and final Friends of Old Time Radio convention from October 20 through October 22 in Newark, NJ. what came to be called “old-time radio,” but a few vocal supporters kept, to paraphrase the opening of “The Lone Ranger,” returning to the thrilling days of yesteryear by collecting tapes of old radio shows and hosting conventions where the actors on classic shows reenacted episodes live in front of an appreciative audience.
