Decided to put together a video/photo slideshow of the photos I took of the USS LST-325 World War II ship as it was in Moline, Illinois on 08.29.08 and Clinton, Iowa on 09.04.08. I included some actual news bulletins that came across the radios and TV during the time of war.

Both CBS and Pepsodent promoted the first nine programs to the maximum extent. In all likelihood as much to promote Van Heflin himself, as to keep The Pepsodent Program’s time slot nice and cozy for Bob Hope’s return in The Fall of 1947.
